Maine Boatbuilders Show 2013

So, where do boat builders go in the winter to share ideas?  One magnificent gathering is the 2013 Maine Boatbuilders Show in Portland on March 15, 16 and 17.  A gathering of the finest fiberglass and wooden custom boat builders on the East Coast will come together for three days of recounting stories and boat building techniques, both new and old.  Numerous manufacturers will exhibit various types of boating equipment. Builders of sailboats, powerboats, canoes, kayaks, and rowing boats will be there to discuss and sell their work. Representatives from both Boothbay Harbor Shipyard and Rideout Marine Construction will be there at a booth to share.  Boothbay Harbor Shipyard will be exhibiting information on boat building as well as ship and yacht reconstruction.  Rideout Marine will share 35 years of experience about commercial and residential construction marine construction, including permitting and design work, dock & pier construction, floating docks, aluminum ramps, moorings, and dredging.
The hours are:  

Friday March 15, 2013: 10 - 6pm    
Saturday March 16, 2013: 10 - 6pm
Sunday March 17, 2013: 10 - 4pm
